A rewind back of 2017 !!

2017 was one of the most important year in my life which changes my marital status from single to married. Just like to write in short about what I did on 2017.

Special thanks to Tshrini’s blog for this inspiring idea.

  • I was married on Apr 24 to Anusuya from my native Karaikudi. She’z also an CS Engineer.
  • Had a chance to meet many of my old friends and relatives in my marriage.
  • Had too many things running in my mind during period of April/May, right from Hall booking till return flight booking to Japan along with my wife. Thanks to my sister Viji and her in-law’s who supported me in all aspects.

  • Before marriage, I never missed my late night gym workouts after office hours. But after marriage, I feel that I need to spend some time for my wife as she miss me whole day and eagerly wait for my arrival. Stopped my gym completely after Jun.
  • Been on a diet and reduced about 4 kgs.
  • But, I re-gained it again at the end of year during my visit to India.

  • This season I personally felt I’m improving in my batting and could make my mind to be more patience during my batting on a 40 overs match. Hope to carry forward with this same mindset next year.
  • Participation was very less compared to last season.

  • Other than my routine works, I had developed few internal software last year
    • SANTA – An HTML parser
    • ANSA – An XML parser
    • Wall – A notice board
    • Inventory Check software
  • Learnt a new technology node.js

என்னமா தோழி – Ennama Thozhi Song with Lyrics

One of the best song from Kaalaipani Movie. #EnnamaThozhi

Ennama Thozhi Song Lyrics

Ennamma thozhi bommaya kaanum
Naan enna seyya poren
Ennamma thozhi bommaya kaanum
naan enna seyya poren

Thalai vaari pinni
Pookal vaithu pudhu chattai pottu vittu
Iypasi maasam kaveri snanam
Bommaya vaangi vandhen
Bhalattu naan paada kan mooda mattayo
Varaindha podhu manadhil endrum
Malarodu pesum mazhalai geetham

Ennamma thozhi bommaya kaanum
Naan enna seyya poren
Ennamma thozhi bommaya kaanum
Naan enna seyya poren

Maranamellam varam kettu
Marujenmam ondru irundhal maari vidum
Mugam madhiyo udal nadhiyo
Melliya kai viralgal pulveliyo
Kaalai pozhudellam kathirukkum
Ival vizhi kaanamal kalai izhakkum

Ennamma thozhi bommaya kaanum

Ennamma thozhi bommaya kaanum
Naan enna seyya poren

Trip to Hyderabad ..

Hi Buddies,

Myself and Vanni are working for Caucus LLC. Our Boss Chaitanya have invited ourself for his Son Arjun Birthday party in Hyderabad.Since the boarding and lodging expenses are taken care of the company, we are very happy.

Vannia booked tickets in Parveen Travels on Jan 1st night. We all meet up together in Koyambedu Omni bus stand, the Bus Started at sharp 7.30 PM . Its a very long trip in bus and also  our seats are not near. While in Bus , they put a Telugu film in which Ravi Teja and Nayantara are acting, seems to be like an commercial film.

The Guy next me is an Foreigner who is sitting in a window seat and im in Aisle seat. He got a long tail of hair, on the way, i started to feel so chill and just tried to close the window, but that guy’s hair was flying outside the window. I just called Vanni and said, “Boss Indha kudimikaran Tholla thangala, vellila mudiya vitutu jannala satha vida matinguran” , and also teased that guy in tamil. That person was wearing a ipod. After a bus break , on the way he removed the ipod headset wire, and i was really shocked to Hear an illayaraja Song (“Oora therichukitaen kanmani”) from his ipod. Vanni started laughing at me and i didn’t open my mouth till Hyderabad.

Successfully we got down in “Lakdikapul” and booked a room in “Hotel R-INN Continental”. I think the room rent is Rs.1200/day and we stayed for 2 days . Very nice room with all facilities. We Just informed our boss that we have arrived. He told us to round Hyderabad and attend the party on 7 pm.

I just prepared a list of places to visit in hyd. Vannia’s Nexus One phone with GPS helped us to locate our positions and places near to US. (really helped us a lot through out the trip). We just freshed up ourselves and decided to go to “Hussain Sagar Lake” first. We had a breakfast in a nearby hotel with a Worst tea. Then we caught a Auto and gone to the Lake.

Entrance ticket was Rs.25/head in that park and Rs.45/head for boating. Hussain sagar lake is very huge with a Big Budha Statue in Center. We take more photos in that lake and in statue. Then we visited “Birla Mandir” temple that is near to Hussain sagar lake.

The “Birla Mandir’s ” is a Mountain temple whose main god is “Sri Venkateshwara” which has a similar statue as of Tirupathi. Its also known for “sai baba’s” temple inside it. Full Marble, No photo camera or mobiles are allowed inside. After worshiping Sivaji’s told to buy “ICE GOLA” near the temple place. I was not really impressed with that taste but most people’s like it.

We search  for a briyani shops there but atlast we found a chinese restuarant, but no briyani. Then we ordered Chicken Fried rice for Vannia and Prawn Fried rice for me.. The Quantity of food was huge. we shared the food but we can’t complete the full food atlast. After that we caught a auto and went to our lodge.

At lodge, we were playing cards.. Most of the time Vannia Wins . Evening we started around 6 for the party, its on BlueFox hotel in Banjara Hills. For the first time we all seeing Chaitanya. We are really surprised to see him. The party was very very awesome. He looks too young, although he is off 32. The party was really wonderful, and we have all kinds of food in that buffet system. Really really very good. There was a magic show in the party. We pack up around 10.30.

The next day, we went to Birla Science planetarium ,Museum and an Ancient Science gallery. Chaitanya told that he will pickup us at 12.30 for lunch at “Paradise” hotel. The paradise hotel is the well known hotel for briyani in Hyderabad.  The museum was really good and have good collections of articles. There is a dinosorium with one big dino bone inside it. Seems me to like “Night at the Museum” film.

Myself bought Bangles for my home and some purchases in that street. Then Chaitanya take us to Paradise in his car. We ordered 4 briyani’s each cost around 120. There are also briyani for even Rs.700 + ..  We are all shocked to see the briyani.. It was huge and was not really impressed with that taste. We have one big piece of Chicken inside it and white rice with hot masala outside. I think it is the real hyderabad briyani and peoples in tamil nadu are cheating. Anyway For Briyani only Thalapakattu is best for me.

After finishing it, we went to charminar and clicked some photos. Chaitanya was saying about the historical information of various places in hyderabad.  I really felt that, although he was not in Hyd. for last 10 years he knows the entire history of Hyderabad. We enjoyed a lot with him. He was very very cool character and easy taking guy. Sivaji bought a big Jewel box for Chaitanya. He gave a Jerk-in for each of us. Then we packed our things and started in the same parveen travels on Jan 3rd night.  we only spend around 300 Rs for 2 days. A nice trip after a long time. I really thank my boss “Chaitanya” for arranging such a trip..
